Softaculous
We now have Softaculous on most of our servers. Softaculous, we think, is the best auto installer out there. It has a vast number of scripts and applications waiting for you to install on your website. Many of them can be installed in a matter of seconds. As default our web hosting comes with Softaculous access; however, for new customers if you prefer Fantastico please submit a support ticket after signup and we can activate your account for this.

If you are currently a customer on a Fantastico account and would like to be changed over to Softaculous please let us know.

Enom Domain Reseller Accounts
Hydro Host is pleased to offer FREE Enom Domain Name Reseller Accounts to all customers on any of our Reseller Web Hosting packages. We are working on an activation page but in the meantime should you wish to take advantage of this offering please submit a support ticket.

In the future we hope to be able to bring this offer to all of our hosting customers, even those using Shared Hosting.

Extra Payment Methods
For UK customers we can now accept GBP cheques as payment. For more details please submit a support ticket to the billing department, for new customers please ask sales about this.

We can also Accept BACS Payments on all accounts.

This is the first in a series of video tutorials from Hydro Host showing you, step by step, how to use and manage your web hosting account from with cPanel.

This first video addresses how to create new email addresses (or email accounts) on your domain.

The next one will show you how to manage existing email accounts.

We have been making a few changes to our server setups. As a result the nameserver IP addresses have changed.

This change will only effect customers using private name servers (eg. ns1.yourdomain.com). If you are using private nameservers you will need to change the IP address associated with your secondary nameserver.

The new details are below.
ns1.hydro-host.net – 92.48.69.20
ns2.hydro-host.net – 213.175.210.200

If your domain points to our servers using ns1.hydro-host.net & ns2.hydro-host.net you do not need to take any action.
